Part of the RCT Living Landscape Project

About the Project

Living Landscapes is a network of sites managed for wildlife. These important areas are nature hotspots and connected stepping stones in the wider countryside. We can all enjoy these special places and experience the nature on our doorstep.

The project consists of 29 sites across RCT, with more coming soon, ranging from SSSI woodland and grasslands to cemetery & park meadows. Our aim is to manage a connected biodiverse network of sites across the county giving nature a much-needed home, and wildlife rich areas that the public can visit and enjoy.
